01
Booking & the mobile service
Yes. Jeynes Cleans is a fully mobile service, so Chris travels to your home, workplace or business premises and carries out the work on location.
Chris is based in Kempsey and covers Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich Spa, Pershore, Tewkesbury, Ledbury, Bromyard and the surrounding areas — roughly 25 miles from Kempsey. If you are slightly further out, send your postcode and he will confirm.
Cars, family vehicles, SUVs, vans, commercial vehicles, motorhomes by arrangement, motorcycles and prestige or performance cars.
Yes, and it helps. Photographs of the paintwork and interior let Chris judge condition and give more accurate advice. Send them by WhatsApp or email.
Send an enquiry through the quote form, call 07598 056698 or message on WhatsApp with your vehicle details and location.
Yes. WhatsApp is often the quickest way to send vehicle photographs and agree a date.
02
Valeting
A valet focuses mainly on cleaning and maintaining the vehicle. Detailing goes further — decontamination, paint correction or enhancement, and longer-term surface protection to improve and preserve the finish.
A Mini Valet takes roughly 2–3 hours and a Full Valet around 3–4 hours, while the Jeynes Signature can take up to a day. Timings depend on the vehicle and its condition, so Chris confirms a realistic time when he quotes.
Yes. Commercial vehicle cleaning and detailing is available, either as a one-off or on a regular basis for local businesses.
Seat cleaning and extraction is available as an add-on with the Mini Valet and Full Valet. Results depend on the type of stain and how long it has been there, so Chris will always give an honest view before starting.
03
Detailing & paintwork
Detailing work such as paint enhancement or a ceramic coating is preparation-heavy and is normally booked as a longer appointment. Timings are confirmed once Chris has seen details or photographs of the vehicle.
Paint enhancement is machine polishing carried out to reduce light swirl marks and dullness and to improve gloss and clarity. It improves the paint rather than promising to remove every defect.
Machine polishing refines the top layer of the clear coat to reduce fine marks left by previous washing, which restores reflection, depth and gloss.
Yes. Motorcycle detailing is available by quotation — send the make, model and what you would like achieved.
04
Ceramic coatings & protection
A ceramic coating is a durable protective layer applied over properly prepared paintwork. It can improve gloss, change how water behaves on the surface and make routine cleaning easier.
Yes — a new vehicle is a good starting point because the paint usually needs less correction before coating. The surfaces are still decontaminated and prepared first.
Protection options can cover paint, glass, wheels, fabric, leather and interior surfaces. Packages are tailored to the vehicle and how you use it.
Yes, where conditions allow. Ceramic coatings need dry, suitable conditions to apply and cure properly, so mobile application is weather and location dependent. If conditions are not right on the day, Chris will rearrange rather than risk the finish.
05
Professional standards & IDA certification
The International Detailing Association (IDA) is a global professional organisation for the vehicle detailing industry. It supports education, recognised standards and continued professional development for detailers.
It means the detailer has studied the IDA's areas of professional knowledge and passed its certification testing. For Chris, it sits alongside his UK Detailing Academy training as evidence of a structured, informed approach to vehicle care.
No. There is no legal requirement to hold any certification to detail vehicles in the UK. Chris chose to certify voluntarily, as a way of testing and developing his knowledge.
Different paint finishes, interior materials, protection products and surfaces need the right preparation, products and techniques. Training and continued development support a more informed and consistent approach on every vehicle.
No. No certification can guarantee that. What it does show is training, tested knowledge and a commitment to careful, considered working practices — and Chris is fully insured.
Because he wanted his standards measured against something recognised rather than self-awarded, and because continued learning keeps the work improving year on year.
06
Interior, stains & pet hair
Yes. Pet hair removal is part of interior valeting and detailing work. Heavily embedded hair takes additional time and specialist tools, so the level of pet hair can affect the final quotation — Chris will always confirm the price before starting.
Vehicle size and condition — including pet hair, staining and contamination — can affect the final quotation. Mention it when you enquire, or send photographs on WhatsApp, and Chris will confirm the price before any work begins.
A Full Valet suits most cars with regular dog hair. For heavier build-up, the Jeynes Signature allows more time, and seat cleaning and extraction can be added to either the Mini Valet or Full Valet.
07
Weather & practicalities
Where possible, access to an outside tap is helpful. If that is not available, mention it when you enquire and Chris will confirm what can be arranged for your booking.
An outdoor socket is useful for interior work such as vacuuming and extraction. Please mention it when booking if power is not available so the service can be planned around it.
Because this is a mobile service, severe weather can mean a booking is rescheduled where the work cannot be completed safely or to the right standard. Chris will always be in touch as early as possible.
